Playing is an important part of children’s world. It can stimulate the children’s brain, so many schools, starting from kindergarten up to elementary schools provide playground inside the school area. During the break time, the children can play and have fun with his/her friends.
Making a playground is not easy, we have to consider about the budget, safety, material used, etc. We want to minimize the budget used while we want to provide a safe material for the children. For example, for the playground surfacing, you can use Playsafer Rubber Mulch from Rubber Recycle that can lasts for years and safe for both our children and environment. We suggest you to use all materials that follow all CPSC safety guidelines and have got ADA approval, like Rubber Recycle did.
The next thing is you have to monitor and evaluate the playground in each period of time to make sure that all playing equipments still work well. We don’t want that our students get injured while they are playing in the playground. Of course, this can impact a bad reputation for our school because we know parents also have their own community to discuss their children, the teacher, and the school.
Last but not least, if you’re thinking not to provide playground for your school in order to make children focus on their study, it is a big mistake because children can also learn through playing, such as to communicate with friends, to solve problems, to compete in a healthy way, etc. The students will get bored easily when we force them to study all the time.
