As a student, we know that we have limited money. We can’t blame our parent about this because I think they have given us more than enough! So, do you have any idea to raise money? Well, so far there are three way I know how we can raise money as a student:
1. Part Time Job
This is the most common way for student to raise money, work as a part timer. The good news is there are a lot of people are looking for us. We have to be proactive in finding the part time vacancies, you can find it from the local newspaper, or your school/college, or your friends.
The range of the salary you get is about $5 – $8 per hour. Quite good I think. You can set how many hours you available in a week so that they can arrange the schedule for you. Make sure you never miss you’re your job; I mean if you screw up your job, they will fire you. Keep a good record, okay!
2. Tutoring
The second way is tutoring. But not everyone can be a tutor. This job is only available for those who have a brilliant mind, what a pity. Furthermore, this job pay a better salary, if I’m not mistaken it’s more than $10 per hour!
3. Start a small business
For me, the last way is the most interesting one, start a small business to make money. Well there is no salary in this way but profit (sometime loss). I have my rhinestones business. I buy Wholesale Rhinestones, make it into some creative creation and I sell it to everyone I know or even the one I don’t know as well.
The profit? Quite good actually, it depends on how active you market your product. From my experience it’s about $150 per week. Sounds good?
Okay, now you can choose which way you want to use to make additional money, have fun!
